Continuous repairs and improvements are being made in response to the water leak discovered this past Saturday, and positive progress is being achieved. The water treatment plant has continued to produce water at a rate of 1,300 gallons per minute.
Four separate water leaks were located, repaired, or isolated within the city today. This was anticipated due to fluctuating water pressures throughout the city as water is reintroduced into the system.
To support water treatment plant production, 55 semi-trucks are hauling potable water from local state-approved water sources, running 24 hours a day.
