PSA 4/17/2025 1:45 p.m.: Cooling Center Open at Abe Montoya Recreation Center

Due to the temporary power outage, the City of Las Vegas has opened a cooling center at the Abe Montoya Recreation Center, located at 1751 North Grand Avenue, available to the public until sunset today. The facility is:

• Air-conditioned

• ADA compliant

• Open to all members of the public

• Equipped with restrooms and water

• Provides seating and power for device charging

  
  

The center’s availability will be reassessed as conditions change. PNM remains in close contact with the city and will provide updates on power restoration.
